This is a wonderful large perfume bottle by noted silversmith William Comyns, hallmarked for London 1899.
This is a beautiful, large silver and glass perfume bottle with wonderful pierced and embossed decoration.
The design depicts on one side a cherub among foliate intertwined designs and on the other side a bird resting in the branches. There is also a Medusa head at the top of the scent bottle.
It has a clear glass bottle and stopper. The top of the scent bottle has pinched sides for ease of grip.
