Product Description

A magnificent and rare Arts and Crafts hand hammered silver bowl made by Omar Ramsden, hallmarked London 1938.

The bowl is of navette shape with a flat top rim and sides that curve gently upwards and narrow to a point at each end. The ends of the bowl have superb spreading feathers and the bowl stands on four superb scroll feet. The bowl has a superb all over gently spot hammered finish and the side has an inscription ‘1914 – 1939’.
