This is a rare pair of Art Nouveau silver shell dishes by Frederick Courthope, hallmarked for London 1901.

This is a lovely and very rare pair of silver shell dishes made by important silversmith Frederick Courthope.

The unpolished silver dishes are of scallop shell form, with wide top rims and pierced handles.

The dishes stand upon three pad feet.

They are finished with superb hand hammering throughout.
