Product Description

This is a superb, large Georgian silver goblet made by Charles Hougham and hallmarked for London 1788.

The goblet has a rolled top rim above gently curving sides and it stands upon a spreading round pedestal base.

The goblet has superb chased leaves and flowers on their stems against a textured background with a large vacant heart shaped cartouche to the front.

The goblet has chased leaves and flowers to the bottom of the stem and a band of beading to the rim.

Excellent, no damage or repairs, just normal surface wear commensurate with age.
