This is a large, heavy and magnificent silver centre-piece bowl by Albert Edward Bonner and is hallmarked for London 1907.
This is a unique centre-piece by a very sought after maker with enamelled and semi precious cabachons decorating the rim. The bowl stands upon six tapered legs and is gently hand hammered.
A.E.Bonner entered his mark in 1905 (registered at Holland Street London). There are examples of his work up until 1915 and it is possible that he was killed during World War I.
