Condition Good antique condition. In certain areas, the gold layer has slightly worn away over time, gently revealing the base metal beneath. Because of this, some parts have a rather silver tone. The overall appearance remains beautiful
Size The locket measures 3 cm in length, including the bail, 2.3 cm without the bail. The width is 1.7 cm at the widest point and the depth is around 0.6 cm

Antique Doublé Puffy Heart-Shaped Locket
This is an antique puffy heart-shaped locket with intricate engraved detailing, likely from the early 20th century (c. 1900-1910s).
The front of the locket features an engraved, flower-like central design with fine detailing along the border. The locket's upper section is adorned with a small, bezel-set dark red stone, likely a garnet or a red glass. Around the edges of the locket is a starburst-like border. The back of the pendant is free of design.
The pendant bears the maker's mark; however it is difficult to read.
Its delicate design and craftsmanship make it a beautiful example of late 19th- to early 20th-century jewelry.
