  • This one-of-a-kind, well-preserved doublé/rolled gold necklace dates back to the late Victorian or Edwardian era, approximately between 1880 and 1910. The ornate links are reminiscent of classic Victorian chain designs, known for their detailed and intricate patterns.

Attached to the chain is a round locket, framed with a lovely beaded or embossed border. Inside the locket is a framed photograph of a young boy, likely kept as a sentimental keepsake. The locket can be opened using the hooks at the back, and the picture can easily be replaced with your own cherished treasure, protected under a glass or crystal cover.

The locket is attached to the chain by a bail ring, which means it can be removed or replaced with another pendant of your choice. The chain itself is striking enough to be worn on its own or paired with your favorite piece! It closes securely with a barrel clasp.

The locket and chain have slightly different tones—the locket has a more yellowish gold hue, while the chain features a pale rose gold tone.

The design is both elegant and meaningful, making it a beautiful example of sentimental jewelry from this era!
