Antique Art Nouveau Round Locket (c. 1880-1910)
This elegant round locket, dating back to the Art Nouveau era (circa 1880-1910), beautifully embodies the romantic spirit of the period.
The front showcases a delicate floral engraving, beautifully set with a faceted pinkish-red stone—likely a garnet—symbolizing love and remembrance, key motifs of the time. Encircling the floral centerpiece is an intricately detailed border, featuring soft scroll patterns.
On the reverse, the locket is equally striking with its captivating textured design, reminiscent of organic, wavy, or woodgrain patterns. The outer edge is framed with a decorative border of beaded details and subtle scrollwork, mirroring the front's artistry.
